CNC Header/ Drill Machinist
Pay:$22/hr. (Depending on Experience)
Hours:Night shift
Job type:Temp to Hire

Job Brief:
We are looking for a CNC Header/Drill Machinist to set up and operate numerical control machines to perform various functions such as cutting drilling milling and more on metallic and nonmetallic workpieces. The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints planning sheets sketches and technical data to determine tooling requirements setup procedures control settings and machining ods.
Responsibilities:
Mounting and aligning tooling using an overhead crane embling cutting tools and loading control media. The operator will calculate and set machine controls manipulate controls to start the machine and monitor displays for malfunctions. They will adjust machine settings change cutters measure workpieces for conformance to specifications and manually operate the machine if necessary. The role also involves notifying the supervisor of discrepancies resolving control media errors maintaining production records cleaning the machine and parts and performing some machine maintenance.
Ss Required:
Candidate must be capable of multitasking in a fastpaced environment and collaborating with team members. A high school diploma or GED is preferred along with a minimum of two years of related experience or training.
