Overview:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities and building client relationships. They are responsible for driving company growth through strategic sales initiatives market research and fostering strong partnerships. This position is vital in expanding the organizations market presence and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and evaluate market trends
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling sales pitches and materials
  • Managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals
  • Setting and achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Negotiating contract terms and pricing agreements with clients
  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and expand the businesss presence
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance and market trends
  • Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities
  • Providing input to product development based on market feedback and client needs
  • Building and maintaining strong longlasting customer relationships
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop sales strategies aligned with company goals
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
  • Managing the sales pipeline and forecasting revenue accurately
  • Staying updated on industry developments and competitors activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in B2B sales and relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
  • Strategic thinking and a resultsdriven mindset
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
  • Understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
  • Exceptional presentation and networking skills
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and mentor a sales team
  • Knowledge of business development best practices and methodologies
  • Highly organized and detailoriented approach to sales and client management
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fastpaced competitive environment
