We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Financial Auditor for one of our esteemed clients in Belgium a leading company in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for a Dutchspeaking professional who is passionate about auditing and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform financial audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with applicable regulations and standards.

Review financial records reports and statements to identify discrepancies errors or fraud.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.

Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Work closely with various departments to gather necessary information and provide recommendations based on audit findings.

Keep abreast of the latest developments in auditing standards financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 35 years of experience in financial auditing within the financial services sector.

A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. A professional certification (e.g. CPA ACCA) is highly desirable.

Fluency in Dutch is mandatory. Proficiency in English.

Strong knowledge of auditing software and financial analysis tools.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
