Budapest is host to KPMG Global Services Hungary (KGSH) KPMGs international center of excellence forVAT compliance solutions. Our team of multicultural professionals provides coverage in more than 40 countries with relevant language and technical skills.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a new strategic HR Director to lead our People Performance & Culture (PPC) team. This role will help us serve our internal customers by ensuring compliance with local and global HR requirements and develop our People Strategy in collaboration with KGSH Leadership to meet the companys goals.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy and Management

  • Formulate the HR strategy by identifying key issues providing insights analysis and recommendations to influence organizational strategic planning and direction; set HR objectives in alignment with KPMG Global guidelines.
  • Implement HR strategies by establishing department accountabilities including talent acquisition staffing compensation benefits training and development records management safety succession planning employee relations retention and legal compliance.
  • Plan and manage the PPC budget and forecasting.
  • Monitor trends and develop actions regarding labor market salary benchmarking employee opinion surveys and external HR community interactions.
  • Provide HR advice expert proposals and solutions to Partners and KGSH Leadership.
  • Lead in developing a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with the firms objectives.
  • Develop employer branding strategy.

HR Operations

  • Manage HR operations and the PPC team.
  • Plan design develop and evaluate HRrelated initiatives to support organizational strategic goals.
  • Drive and implement changes.
  • Ensure professional internal communication.

Organizational Development

  • Support the development and implementation of organizational development programs.
  • Provide counseling and make proposals for career development plans.

Legal & Compliance

  • Consult with Partners and KGSH Leadership on labor issues.
  • Follow legislative changes and implement policy updates as necessary.
  • Act as the primary contact for payroll and labor administration service providers resourcing partners and HR subcontractors.
  • Ensure all peoplerelated activities comply with Global Risk Management audit requirements and local standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University/College degree preferably in Human Resource Management
  • 10 years of relevant work experience ideally in an SSC/BSC/GDC environment
  • Strong knowledge of Hungarian labor law
  • Experience in developing HR strategy for a large organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute company transformations and lead change management initiatives
  • People management experience
  • Experience working closely with leadership teams
  • Proven track record of building HR organizations processes and solutions
  • Advanced written and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with interacting and making presentations to senior management
  • Strong collaborative and motivational skills
  • Executive presence
