Senior Accountant - Private Enterprise

• Plan and execute audit fieldwork for private companies in compliance with Canadian GAAP and IFRS
• Lead and mentor junior team members in the execution of audit fieldwork
• Canadian tax experience including preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and various other required filings

• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

• Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit of private companies and owner managed clients.
• Strong understanding and demonstration of technical knowledge specifically ASPE ASNPO GAAP
• CPA designation or working towards a CPA
• Strong analytical organizational and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines
• Handson experience in accounting software such as Taxprep CaseWare or similar softwares
•
