We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Engineer with specific expertise in AWS EKS for Government Cloud deployments.

This role is focused on designing and implementing Kubernetes solutions within a secure governmentregulated environment.
Responsibilities:
-
Design and develop Kubernetes clusters specifically for AWS EKS.

Build and maintain Kubernetes control plane components operators and custom resource definitions (CRDs) tailored to meet government security standards.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Kubernetes into the application lifecycle within a secure cloud environment.

Lead initiatives for the adoption and optimization of Kubernetes within AWS EKS ensuring compliance with governmental regulations. Conduct code reviews security assessments and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes practices.

Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance scalability and security within the AWS EKS.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Strong experience as a Kubernetes developer with specific experience in AWS EKS and government cloud deployments.

Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture including control plane operators and CRDs. Proficient in Golang programming.

Solid grasp of security protocols compliance and best practices in a government cloud setting.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and secure automated deployment processes.

Excellent problemsolving analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:

Certification in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) and AWS (AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

Prior experience working with government contracts and understanding federal security requirements.

Experience with other AWS services and container orchestration tools like Docker Helm etc.

Knowledge of network protocols and Linux/Unix administration.
