Job Summary:
Responsible for providing first point of contact advice for the Housing Management enquiries including face to face telephony emails social media and digital customer interactions. Signposting and providing advice and support for Housing tenancy and incomerelated housing services.
Provide a Business Support service within Housing complying with specialist / statutory frameworks. Provides professional advice guidance and appropriate support to clients managers and professionals.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
To undertake an initial review of needs presented by the customer and to decide on appropriate next steps for the individual(s). Seeking assistance/advice from Senior Colleagues when appropriate.
Analyse the customer situation or requests identifying their needs and offering the appropriate support or solution guidance or advice and signposting.
Demonstrating unconditional empathy and patience to support each customer situation expressing effective and appropriate emotional presence resilience and emotional intelligence where situations are challenging.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience of working in operational services and delivering customerled services to multichannel customers.
Experience of working to tight deadlines prioritising own workload and the ability to work flexibly and effectively.
Essential Qualifications Required:
The appropriate education / qualification for this post is a minimum NVQ 3 standard / 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at C/4 or above combined with demonstrable standards of numeracy and literacy.

37 hours per week

Vocational qualification related to customer services.
