NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYContributes advanced knowledge and s in technology and general hospitality business knowledge to support the igned property(ies) and technology information technology resources objectives. Implements and monitors systems and manages information technology resources compliance requirements. Manages all property technology planning, decision-making, implementation, maintenance, and disposal. Engages with technology partners, owners, executive committee, and property staff to understand business needs/issues and formulate information technology (IT) related solutions. Manages property internet support. Manages the cluster team in the absence of Cluster/Multi-Property IT Manager. Communicates effectively with all stakeholders.CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • Hospitality Management or related education, awareness of global hospitality technology trends; experience in ignments atinternational locations. Back of the house and guest facing operational and technical experience with hospitality management systems. Minimum 1 year in an ociate Supervisory role. OR• Bachelors degree level or equivalent and 1 year project management experience. Solid Technical Knowledge on:• Server and Active Directory Architecture and Security implementation.• Windows Server Operating System and Active Directory.• Desktop Operating iT and Desktop Management (GPO).• Outlook email and approved mobile devices.• IT organization and resources available.• LAN Networks.• Understanding of the companys technical standards and policies.Other Ss • Competent written and spoken English ss.• Demonstrated leadership ss.• Past Project Management and Organization ss• Proven negotiation ss.CORE WORK ACTIVITIES General• Maintains doented balanced scorecard and annual goals and focus on achieving these goals.• Executes, prioritizes, organizes, and accomplishes igned work.• Demonstrates and applies Information Resources knowledge by keeping up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to your job.• Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership.Product• Verifies stakeholder technology needs are met.• Seeks to keep informed regarding technology partner activities and priorities.People• Builds and maintains positive and effective relations with all the stakeholders.• Uses the one team concept to build and maintain positive and effective relations with Property ociates, Regional IT and technology partners.• Meets all IT technology partners servicing the property on a routine and ad hoc basis.• Verifies effective induction program for new ociates or those in new or different roles.• Covers the cluster leaders function during their absence• Perform performance reviews on a timely basis and allocate sufficient time, research and effort to ensure the process effectively benefits the development of ociates.• Ensure adequate communication, training and of all Talent development programs and related initiatives.• Develop a personal management style that brings positive results from ociates.• Build and maintain positive and effective relations with direct team members.Process• Maintains IT related inventory for the igned properties/offices in cluster.• Manages backups and technology disaster recovery planning and .• Generates systems communications for property users to provide user tips, alert users of system problems, and inform staff of progress or status.• Monitors effective flow of issue management amongst Continent Support Desk, technology partners and cluster organizations.• Attends Bi-weekly Regional iT Calls.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
