Material Handler/ Receiver
Pay:$1820/hr.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for moving loading unloading and handling all inbound and inhouse materials (Work in progress/ WIP). The primary objective is to ensure that all product materials are properly received prepared and staged for WIP departments to maximize manufacturing throughput and efficiency. The role also involves assisting with outbound shipments as needed with a CDL license being a plus due to the potential requirement of operating company vehicles. Key duties include unloading inbound trucks unpacking received items verifying received quantities against purchase orders for accuracy and comparing receivers with purchase orders or invoices. Additionally the position involves identifying and reporting nonconforming goods verifying and delivering Material Test Reports to QA for approval and marking moving and staging all production materials. Proficiency in transferring and controlling product identification marks understanding purchase orders and suppliers and operating forklifts cranes and other material handling equipment is essential. Maintaining housekeeping and cleanliness in receiving areas working efficiently and safely making accurate decisions and ensuring low defect rates are crucial aspects of this role. Reliable and punctual attendance along with a positive and cooperative attitude is expected.
Requirements:
This position demands a strong desire to work in a heavy manufacturing environment. Routine heavy lifting and the ability to work without significant supervision is required. Material handling packing and shipping/receiving experience is preferred. The position requires a classappropriate level of experience. A high school vocational school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Experience in an ISO 9000 environment is helpful. A working knowledge of shop practices is highly encouraged.
