REGISTERED NURSE FIRST ASSIST

Responsibilities:

Work Schedule: (3) 7A730P; Minimal on call requirement filling in on occasional weeknights and weekends when on call team is off. One holiday of on call required per year

Evaluates assigned patients and plans implements and documents nursing care.

Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations planning implementation and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.

Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Promotes patients independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions medications and selfcare skills.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency OR enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 6 credits completed within previous 12 months.

Experience

23 years of first assist in multiple specialties including robotics vascular/endovascular spine and total joints

Certification and Licensure

PA Registered Nurse License
