Account Intern

Accounting Intern Responsibilities:

• Shadowing members of the Finance department as they perform their duties and eventually learn to be independently carry out the duties
• Processing vendors invoices and payments
• Working with Accounting software (Navision) and Business intelligence reporting software
• Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements and submission to management for reviews
• Assisting with research filing data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and operations.

What will you take away:

• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting & Finance team to process accounting records compile and analyze data track information supporting the Finance department of the company as a whole.
• Understand and get expose to management reporting and information used by Management to assess a companys performance

Accounting Intern Requirements:

• Actively working towards a Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting.
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles (for e.g. IFRS).
• Aptitude for mathematics proficiency with computers strong analytical and critical mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of efficiency accuracy and responsibility.
• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
