Overview
TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client manufactures and sells consumer lawn garden and pest control products.
Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Lutherville MD 21093
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Job Description:
- Responsible for independently coordinating blood and tissue banking protocols to ensure proper collection and handling of samples i.e. bone marrow blood tissue skin check swabs pheresis products etc.
- Establishes effective policies and procedures for obtaining processing and handling all clinical trialdriven correlative blood and tissue samples.
- Collaborates with internal and external laboratories processing clinical trial samples to ensure compliance with each individual trial.
- Independently arranges courier service as needed for transport of clinical trial blood and tissue samples.
- Schedules urgent/emergent clinical trialrelated laboratory tests visits procedures and treatment.
- Resolves any schedule conflicts and ensures timely patient tracking. On a regular and continuous basis exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions consequences and results having an impact on staff and patients as well as the quality of service within the department.
- Coordinates research phlebotomy services to ensure proper collection processing and documentation of sample draws.
