We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to lead our clients Electronics Engineering team in Albuquerque NM!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems including schematic capture component selection and PCB layout.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and refine system architecture ensuring alignment with product requirements and objectives.
- Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes to validate and iterate upon design concepts.
- Establish comprehensive testing procedures and protocols to verify the functionality performance and safety of hardware systems.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation including schematics BOMs and test plans.
- Ensure that hardware designs meet all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including software engineers firmware engineers and project managers to drive successful project outcomes.
- Identify and address technical challenges troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Management and leadership experience.
- Strong background in CAD design of circuits modules and processors.
- Design experience involving A/D D/A and microcontrollers.
- Experience writing scheduling and cost estimating proposals.
- Aircraft interface experience.
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Experience Desired
- Any experience with military environment commercial aircraft military aircraft ground vehicles or support equipment.
- FPGA experience.
