Sr. Electronics Engineer Schedule: 40 hours/week in office (not remote)

Salary: $84000 $140000. per year

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to lead our clients Electronics Engineering team in Albuquerque NM!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the design and development of complex electrical hardware systems including schematic capture component selection and PCB layout.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and refine system architecture ensuring alignment with product requirements and objectives.
• Develop and oversee the creation of prototypes to validate and iterate upon design concepts.
• Establish comprehensive testing procedures and protocols to verify the functionality performance and safety of hardware systems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation including schematics BOMs and test plans.
• Ensure that hardware designs meet all relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams including software engineers firmware engineers and project managers to drive successful project outcomes.
• Identify and address technical challenges troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Management and leadership experience.
• Strong background in CAD design of circuits modules and processors.
• Design experience involving A/D D/A and microcontrollers.
• Experience writing scheduling and cost estimating proposals.
• Aircraft interface experience.
• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Experience Desired

• Any experience with military environment commercial aircraft military aircraft ground vehicles or support equipment.
• FPGA experience.
