We seek a Sr. Electrical Engineer Product Support (Aerospace) based in Everett WA. This engineer focuses on resolving manufacturing and fieldrelated problems implementing cost product and maintenance improvements addressing component sourcing and obsolescence issues and conducting qualification and verification testing for design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Sustaining: Leading projects related to obsolescence mitigation and marketdriven modifications collaborating with engineering teams to integrate design changes.
- Operations Support: Analyzing production test failures identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
- Customer Support: Investigating and resolving complex hardware issues reported by customers.
- Product Improvements: Identifying cost reduction opportunities while maintaining product performance and quality.
- Project Support: Contributing to new product development programs and managing individual projects.
- Product Compliance: Ensuring product designs and modifications adhere to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in highspeed circuit design component analysis schematic and PCB analysis digital & analog circuit troubleshooting programming in Windows and Linux environments and using tools like oscilloscopes and DMMs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PCI PCIe PXIe and USB.
- Knowledge of avionics databuses/designs.
- Thermal imaging and spectrum analyzer experience.
- FPGA code analysis in Verilog.
- Programming in scripting languages.
- Testing to DO160 and military standards.
The position requires US citizenship due to ITAR regulations.
