Job Description
Mechanical Engineer (Buffalo NY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draft mechanical components for new projects.
- Manage project timelines to meet important deadlines including show dates and open houses.
- Collaborate with software and electrical engineers shop staff and technicians to optimize designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with ETL and UL standards.
- Create and maintain costed Bills of Materials (BOM) for each project ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree (BS) or ociate Degree () in a related field with 35 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks PDM and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Strong organizational ss attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude with solid problemsolving ss.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication ss with the ability to work effectively with vendors coworkers and customers.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fastpaced environment.
