The Commercial Excellence Team at AstraZeneca AfriCAN cluster is a group of catalysts with a purpose of delivering exceptional work which enables the organization to bring our medicines to patients. What you’ll do?
The successful candidate will responsively assist and work across the diverse needs and expectations of the cross-functional stakeholders by employing efficient communication channels, enhance information dissemination and KPI monitoring. Play a crucial role in innovation by refining processes, adopting systems thinking and embracing automation. You will also enable to offer actionable insights and perspectives to facilitate strategic decision-making with the Cross functional teams.
Some areas of focus for this role will include:
Manage CRM system
Ensure all data captured in CRM System is correct and complete. Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of data collected in the database system.
Maximize the benefits of existing tools and implements new/upgrade programmes, methodologies, and files for collecting, analysing, and presenting data products.
Work in collaboration with support teams to resolve all functional issues promptly to ensure the CRM system is able to support the business and sales force effectively and timeously.
Prepare all files for cycle load or other data loading required.
Manage all relevant File loading process to ensure correct data in CRM system available for all users every cycle.
Meet all data recording requirements and ensure accuracy and currency of information.
Define or document the data transformations and mappings that need to occur between different data sources.
Meet all departmental admin requirements. Keep all administrative data in CRM system up to date: speakers, Promotional Items, Users etc.
Sales Force Incentive Compensation:
Sales incentive schemes (SOP’s) are aligned to company strategy and guidelines.
Audit and Compliance in line with business requirements.
Quarterly Incentive Compensation calculations, validation, review and alignments for the Cluster.
Timeous calculation of sales incentives as stated in the Incentive SOP.
Rewards and recognition calculations for the field force.
Territory Budget planning and phasing for MSRs across all Sales Force teams.
Segmentation & targeting
Segmentation and targeting delivery based on business strategy.
Commercial optimization: ability to deliver size and structure of Field force including providing strategic guidance to the business.
Target List updates and aligning the field force customer allocations.
Field Force Analytics & Digital
Analytical support for key business stakeholders to business performance.
Customization and Management of consolidated reporting according to local business need.
Management of Territory sales and Activity SFE reports and analysis.
Sales Force Effectiveness guidance/ insights to the business to support decision making.
Provision of support and relevant reports to the business
Provide optimal support to business partners and CRM system users - Train all new medical reps, FLSMs and other users to ensure they are competent to fully utilize the CRM system.
Train all users on the related SOPs to ensure they fully understand expectations to be compliant.
Deal with all queries or issues reported and ensure they are resolved successfully and to the satisfaction of users.
Extract required reports from the reporting tool and distribute to the business to support decision making.
Work with external providers to ensure database of customers in CRM system is correct and updated regularly.
Work collaboratively with IT department to ensure all new users set up correctly and resolve all user issues and concerns timeously.
