WA-CT X-Ray Tech

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a CT/XRay Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Aberdeen WA 98520

Assignment Start Date: 5/6/2024

13 weeks Days 8&12hour shift 40 hours guaranteed /weekly

The CT Technologist under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologists performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. The machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64slice scanner. The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure. He/she must ensure the correct marking/labeling of all films. The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe quality patient care. He/she also must take calls.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required

Education:

• Graduate of approved AMA School of Radiology and be a registered ARRT

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• ARRT(CT)

EMR System: Meditech experience/knowledge preferred

Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:

• Possess knowledge in crosssectional anatomy
• Possession of two years of diagnostic experience desirable
• Moderate to heavy physical effort is required. Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment.
• Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
• Ability to move forty (40) pounds six feet
• Ability to reach overhead holding twentyfive (25) pounds
• Ability to lift forty (40) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to pull forty (40) pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push a 150pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity; motor skills to operate delicate equipment
• Requires computer skills
• Demonstrates accurate judgment/decisionmaking ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills.
• Provides quality customer service and patient care using the standard radiology technology following established hospital policy/procedures
