Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in academic and clinical committees contributing to the growth and development of the department and institution.
• Supervise and support the professional growth of junior faculty residents and fellows.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote general medicine awareness and education.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in general medicine from an accredited board of internal medicine.
• Significant clinical experience in general medicine including outpatient and inpatient care settings.
• Demonstrated record of teaching and mentoring medical students residents and fellows.
• Proven track record of conducting and publishing medical research in general medicine.
• Experience in curriculum development and academic program accreditation processes.
• Strong commitment to professional development and continuing medical education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students colleagues and patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment.
