(1) Senior Physicist 8hr days Gundersen Lutheran

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Guaranteed Hours Per week: 40

Primary Location: Gundersen Lutheran

Shift Length: 8hr shifts

Shift start and end times: 6:30AM6:00PM shift times vary based on daily assignments

Float Requirements: Gundersen Tomah Clinic

Weekend Rotation Requirements: Discuss with Manager

Holiday Rotation Requirements: None

Call required: None

Certifications: American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or the American Board of Medical Physics equivalent in Radiation Therapy Physics

Required Education: Masters Doctorate or PhD

Minimum experience: 5 years in specialty Experience with Aria Eclipse and Truebeam required

EMR: Epic preferred

Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: Experience with Aria Eclipse and Truebeam required

Unit Overview: Collaborates with other senior staff to maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) program to comply with national standards Evaluation and implementation of new technology and techniques Maintains templates checklists and therapy equipment in record and verify system Provides radiation safety education to staff

Primary Case/Procedure Type: VMAT SRS SBRT 3D planning

GSA is not guaranteed orientation week. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays where unit is closed.
