Our esteemed client in Australia is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Trades Workers with at least 5 years of professional experience. Ideal candidates will excel in sheet metal fabrication installation and maintenance and demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a fastpaced industrial environment.

To qualify for this role applicants must:

• Possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in sheet metal work including in fabrication installation and repair.

• Hold appropriate trade qualifications or certifications in sheet metal work or related fields.

• Be able to provide a portfolio of previous work along with references a valid passport and police clearances if required.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate assemble install and repair sheet metal products and equipment like ducts control boxes and various types of casings.

• Work proficiently with a range of materials such as stainless steel galvanised iron copper and aluminium.

• Interpret blueprints drawings and specifications to determine the sequence and methods for fabrication and installation.

• Utilise various hand tools and machinery including shears brakes presses and welding equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with job specifications company policies and safety standards.

• Coordinate with project managers engineers and construction teams for seamless work execution.

• Regularly inspect and maintain sheet metal structures and components to ensure quality and durability.
  

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of direct experience in sheet metal work.

• Trade qualifications or certifications in sheet metal work or a closely related field.

• Deep understanding of materials methods and tools essential for constructing or repairing metal structures.

• Excellent manual dexterity precision and attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.

• Physical ability to meet the demands of the job including lifting bending and operating in various conditions.

• Proficiency in English for effective job site communication.
