Exciting Opportunity for a Tech Lead

IMPORTANT! For this position we are looking for candidates who are suitable to work in Istanbul for the first 6 months and then move to Dubai.

IMPORTANT! This position is open to a maximum of 10 years of work experience.

Tech Lead is responsible for the technology strategy and innovation initiatives for a dynamic startup developing products for the energy sector. They oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions to increase business growth and competitive advantage.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in software development.
• 2 years of experience in leading or management roles or similar.
• Proven experience in PostgreSQL and Amazon SNS/SQS.
• Ffamiliarity with Airflow and Terraform is a plus.
• Strong grasp of current and emerging technologies and their application in business environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems efficiently.
• Experience in managing and leading development teams.
• Knowledge of best practices in IT governance and operations.
• Commitment to staying informed on technology trends and developments.
• Ability to drive innovation and inspire the technology team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 45 developers guiding technical direction and project execution.
• Architect design and develop solutions using PostgreSQL and Amazon SNS/SQS.
• Thrive in ambiguity adapting to evolving requirements and providing clarity to the team.
• Ensuring alignment of technology resources with companys shortterm and longterm objectives.
• Leading the technology team and overseeing research and development as well as technology initiatives.
• Improving and optimising the companys software development process.
• Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging technologies that could benefit the company or pose a threat.
• Establishing technology standards and practices and ensuring adherence.
• Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
