Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our People Team is growing! As an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist at SciLeads youll work closely with our Talent Acquisition Partner gaining valuable mentorship. Youll also have the opportunity to take full ownership of the recruitment life cycle from start to finish. This role will allow you to gain valuable experience and contribute to the development of innovative recruitment strategies. Additionally youll be an integral part of our wider People team gaining exposure to various facets of HR.

Responsibilities include:

• Owning the end to end recruitment process

• Partnering with universities to enhance our brand awareness among students

• Screening and interviewing candidates

• Identifying and implementing effective sourcing methods to engage with top talent

• Delivering an outstanding and consistent candidate experience

• Assisting in the implementation of an applicant tracking system

• Developing and nurturing positive working relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders

• Contributing to the development of a recruitment strategy

• Attending recruitment events and representing SciLeads at key graduate events

• Collaborating with the marketing team to contribute to our Employer Brand

• When required support the business with People Operations matters

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 1 years experience in a recruitment role (inhouse or agency)

• Demonstrated experience in screening candidates

• Passion for identifying and attracting top talent

• Excellent attention to detail adaptability and problem solving skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working on high volume recruitment roles

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Experience working in a SaaS environment

• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a closely related field

• Knowledge or understanding of employment laws regulations and requirements relating to recruitment in Ontario Canada
