Inventory Specialist

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Candidate must demonstrate the knowledge of and the ability to perform the following tasks in assisting the Warehouse Manager:

1. Maintain accurate inventory system

2. Maximize inventory based on job usage

3. Assist in determining equipment stock levels

4. Ensure property loss prevention program is maintained

5. Determine and maintain inventory maintenance program

6. Ensure shipping and receiving is accurately and efficiently performed

7. Inspect equipment returned from rental

8. Properly document damaged and/or lost reports on returned equipment

11. Maintain physical plant inventory and maintenance program

12. Maintain quality control standards

Qualifications and Competencies: Candidate must demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

1. Minimum of 3 –5 years warehouse operational experience (education and training may be substituted for experience)

2. Proven successful experience in a similar size and scope organization

3. Demonstrated knowledge of equipment inspection practices and techniques

4. Demonstrated knowledge of inventory systems bar coding processes and associated equipment

5. Knowledge of computers and software programs to support inventory and maintenance programs (Point of Rental helpful but will train)

6. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision

7. Knowledge of applicable Occupational Safety & Health rules and regulations

8. Must be able to perform an unassisted lift of 45 lbs.

9. Must maintain a clean and neat professional appearance

10. Must be able to work in general conditions that are not under temperature control to include nights and weekends

11. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English

12. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in Spanish is a plus.

13. Must have or be able to obtain a forklift operator’s license
