Chief Operating Officer

• Coordinate with Engineering Business Development Quality Finance and Operational staff to get the product from concept to launch.
  
• Oversee all aspects of the business to optimize profits efficiencies and quality.
  
• Explore and Analyze new business opportunities from markets to acquisitions.
  
• Plan and execute production transfer from development stage/site to production stage/site.
  
• Plan and prioritize customer employee and manufacturing requirements and implement such plans.
  
• Focus on increasing operations from the current two shifts weekdays to 24/7 operations in production facilities.
  
• Focus on efficiency gains operational improvements and more up time to reduce operating costs and increase throughput.
  
• Scrap reduction and minimizing operational waste either through cost or downtime.
  
• Work with external partners as needed to integrate new equipment processes and technologies to drive superior quality and ontime delivery.
  
• Provide coaching mentoring and performance feedback to lead employees to encourage maximum performance dedication and retention.
  
• Promote the Core Values of the Company and participate in shaping the longterm vision and strategy.
  
• Report frequently on the status of Manufacturing Operations activities to the Executive Leadership and Management Team.
  
• Interviews selects and hires qualified individuals for key management positions.
  

Requirements

• B.S. degree and/or MBA is Preferred in Engineering
  

• 10 years of working in an ISO13485 or higher environment.
  
• 10 years of successful Senior Operations Management experience in a large multisite Medical Device Manufacturing environment
  
• 5 years of Engineering experience in a contract manufacturing environment
  

• Extensive experience with Factory 4.0 and Lean manufacturing initiatives in fullscale manufacturing environments. Certifications a plus.
  
• Understanding of Supply Chain Scheduling Material Management and Lights Out Manufacturing
  
• Experience/understanding of Automated Production Cells. Able to assist in design costing and deployment of production cells.
  
• Handson resultsoriented leader with a proven track record of successfully developing people and teams to their fullest potential.
  
• A sense of urgency in driving projects and desire to set ambitious goals and work aggressively to meet project schedules utilizing the latest project management tools and techniques.
  
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
  
• Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  
• Working knowledge of Inventory Cost Accounting and P&L
  
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Excel

• Experience in manufacturing systems development and deployment.
