Fabrication Production Manager

FABRICATION / PRODUCTION MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client an established manufacturing company in WNY is looking to hire a Fabrication Manager to join their team. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the fabrication process from start to finish
  
• Manage team of 8 Fabricators ensuring orders are being fulfilled in a timely manner
  
• Create and delegate daily/weekly work schedules prioritizing orders for maximum efficiency and production
  
• Perform quality inspections of products ensuring the highest standards are met throughout each stage of the fabrication process
  
• Regularly assess inventory levels overseeing procurement and storage of parts/materials in order to maintain stock levels & meet production demands
  
• Apply a handson approach to leading training and developing team members and fostering a positive work environment
  
• Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement creating documents for standardization and ensuring proper implementation
  
• Ensure operations are performed according to the highest safety standards
  
• Coordinate with other departments to plan onsite installations for customers finished products
  
• Complete special projects in a timely manner
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time direct hire; 100% onsite
  
• Standard work hours 7:00AM 4:30PM
  
• $90000 $110000 annually depending on experience

• Strong computer skills including Excel
  
• 5 years experience in a fabrication/manufacturing leadership role
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
