This is a remote position.
Job Overview:
As a Remote Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for creating detailed steel workshop drawings tailored to our agricultural business needs. This role involves collaborating with our Australian team and leveraging your expertise to enhance our workshop designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and comprehensive steel workshop drawings using industrystandard software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with the Australian team to understand project specifications and design criteria ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Ensure drawings adhere to relevant industry standards codes and regulations with a focus on structural integrity and safety.
- Provide technical support and clarification on drawings during the fabrication and assembly process.
- Conduct thorough reviews of workshop drawings to identify and resolve any discrepancies or design issues.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve workshop design processes incorporating the latest advancements in mechanical engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in creating steel workshop drawings.
- Proficient in relevant software tools for drafting and design.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
