As a System Engineer you ll use your deep understanding of both client and server operating systems including Ubuntu Linux MS Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux to make an impact across the federal government.

Must Haves:

• Proven track record in customizing deploying and managing server and client operating systems.
  
• This includes system optimization security patching and troubleshooting for Ubuntu Linux MS Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environments.
  
• Expertise in managing LDAP directory services and a strong understanding of Microsoft FISMO server roles.
  
• This includes the ability to design implement and maintain these services in a largescale diverse environment.
  
• Extensive experience in writing and managing Ansible Playbooks for system configuration and automation.
  
• You should demonstrate the ability to create complex playbooks for multitiered applications.
  
• Proficient in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate management including issuance renewal and revocation processes.
  
• A strong understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) configuration and management is required.
  
• Indepth knowledge and handson experience with various Hypervisors such as CITRIX VMWare and Virtual Box.
  
• This includes setting up managing and optimizing virtual environments for performance and security.
  
• Experience in implementing and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
  
• Familiarity with remote desktop services and the ability to integrate VDI into existing systems is highly desirable.
  
• You should also be familiar with network security protocols cloud infrastructure management and have a strong understanding of server hardware and storage systems
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  
• CI Poly would be a huge bonus
  

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain clientserver infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
  
• Perform regular system monitoring analysis and performance tuning to ensure optimal server performance.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve clientserver issues.
  
• Implement and enforce security best practices to protect clientserver systems from potential threats.
  
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of clientserver systems.
  
• Provide technical support to endusers and assist in problem resolutions
