Conference and Banqueting Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of conference and banqueting operations at Kilronan Castle.
- Ensure the smooth execution of events conferences and banquets including planning setup and coordination.
- Collaborate with other departments such as the kitchen and housekeeping to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and train staff members to provide highquality service to guests.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Stay updated with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the conference and banqueting experience.
- Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in conference and banqueting management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detailoriented and able to maintain high quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conference and banqueting management.
- Prior experience in a luxury hotel or castle setting is preferred.
- Experience in managing largescale events and highprofile clients.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations including menu planning and wine selection.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
