We are urgently seeking CNM2 Infection Prevention Control for a private hospital in Westmeath Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- You will assist and counsel all members of the clinical and nonclinical teams with your professional knowledge.
- Collaborate closely with related acute hospitals and community partners.
- Provide an efficient effective and highquality service respecting the needs of community staff service users family and/or career.
- Effectively manage time and workload to meet changing and developing service needs.
- In collaboration with the ADON IPC continually monitor the service to ensure it reflects current needs.
- Implement and manage identified changes.
- Monitor access utilize and disseminate current relevant research to advise and ensure the provision of informed evidencebased practice.
- Collate data in line with locally agreed performance indicators and metrics which will provide evidence of the effectiveness of interventions undertaken
- Evaluate audit results and research findings to identify areas for quality improvement in collaboration with service managers and IPC team colleagues
Requirements
- Possess a valid registration as a nurse or midwife on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands Register of Nurses and Midwives or meet the requirements to get one.
- Be listed in the division of the Nurses and Midwives Register where the application is being submitted.
- possess a minimum of five years worth of fulltime experience obtained after registering or five years worth of experience total in the register division where the application is being submitted.
- Possess the clinical management and administrative skills necessary to carry out the roles responsibilities.
- Provide proof of your ongoing professional development.
- To effectively carry out the duties of the position candidates must have the necessary knowledge and skills including a high quality of appropriateness and clinical managerial and administrative capability.
