MDMS is recruiting for a Site Reliability Engineer for a FinTech Startup in NYC. You will help to progress the software and systems that drive the oranizations key offerings and services. You will work with Engineering and Product teams to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
And you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions across the organization.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering and/or SRE experience.
- Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, System Design, Distributed Computing.
- Experience in algorithms, data structures, Unix/Linux systems, IP networking, performance and application issues.
- Experience in the cloud native applications space.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex distributed systems.
- Experience in code reviews.
- Bachelors in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute on projects to improve the reliability of organizations platform and services.
- Execute on projects that will improve the reliability of core products.
- Reduce the operational work significantly for our footprint on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Leverage Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) strategies to deliver on demand infrastructure.
- Optimize existing systems, build infrastructure and eliminate work through automation.
- Implement GitOps strategies.
Requirements
