Project Surveyor

A reputable engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Project Surveyor for their Nashville, Tennessee team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects
  
• Prepare scope, fee estimates, budgets and proposals
  
• Prepare survey legal descriptions and plats/exhibits (boundary surveys, subdivision or easements)
  
• Calculate roadway right-of-way/property lines
  
• Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
  
• Prepare computations construction layout/subdivisions
  
• Monitor project budgets/schedules and keep team notified of progress
  
• Work directly with clients
  
• Perform field work as needed
  
• Perform records research of previous surveys (evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence) to help with field surveys
  
• Perform record research at courthouses
  

• B.S. or A.S. in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  
• 6+ years of experience
  
• Registered Surveyor (PS) preferred
  
• Experience with performing ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
  
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, Carlson, Microstation, Microsoft Office
  
• Experience with RTK GPS, Robotics total station, laser scanner, Trimble Access Data Collectors and Trimble Business Center
