Software Engineer IV

Job Description:

• The Software Engineer reviews the technical designs, security configurations, and implements software programming applications, including software infrastructure and development tools.
• The candidate will be responsible for the management of DevOps and Microsoft code management tools for the application development teams.
• They will provide consulting and the implementation for applications authorization and authentication for the Agency .Net application using a variety of domains and processes.
• This position requires collaboration with 3rd party vendors and a diverse group of application development teams across DCF.
• The candidate should have a core knowledge of F5 configuration and load balancing with the ability of making recommendations and validating that configurations have been built according to the requirements or needs of the application.
• The candidate will need to have additional experience with Control-M integration, ODBC, and DB2 driver configuration or installation on Microsoft servers.
• Supports and/or installs software applications, infrastructure, and development tools.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
• The candidate will have 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan, and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Good technical oral and written communications are required to work with a variety of stakeholders and developers

Skills required for the position:

• 15 years of experience working with .Net applications
• Advanced level knowledge of TFS, Azure DevOps, GIT.
• Expert level experience with multiple versions of Visual Studio.
• Expert level of experience and knowledge of building applications in IIS with load balancing and diverse security.
