Estimator for dry utilities:
- Minimum 3 years experience in dry utility work (power & communications) or wet utility work
- The position is for underground systems, not overhead systems, and does not involve pulling or terminating cables
- Be responsible for estimating from inception to completion, including transitioning a winning bid to operations
- An in-depth understanding of different types of shoring
- A background in underground power and communications systems as well as paving and concrete as it relates to utility construction is required
- You must have worked for a self-performing contractor who performs at-risk work (no construction managers or governmental estimators).
- Creating projects in existing streets is essential to our work in metropolitan areas
- Analyze alternative pricing methodologies for change orders and support operations
