Product Controller

Ensuring timely and accurate calculation, verification, and reporting of daily P&L and analytics

Monitoring trading activities for compliance with various related policies

Detailed daily/monthly commentary on P&L movement

Balance Sheet substantiation for month end

Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Work with Financial Control with the maintenance of the local and global general ledger
Escalate issues and assist team members in problem resolution
Understand the Equity Swaps booking model
Produce and review daily Profit and Loss (P&L) and P&L explanations for the Credit Corporates business
Understand the Businesses supported, the strategies, products and inherent risks
Understand the Risk & Reporting Systems, identifying opportunities to enhance the Control Environment, Standardisation, Scalability and add value
Develop and implement revenue reporting standards across IED
Facilitation of general ledger close process monthly
Completion of M/E tasks to meet prescribed timelines
Close liaison with FO and Ops when new trades are put on or rolls / tear ups take place, so as to ensure proper day 1 deferrals and subsequent amortisations, cost accruals and realisations take place
