Head of Asset Management

Our client is one of the top property developers and investment companies that is involved in trading, manufacturing, construction, and infrastructure development. They also extended their business throughout ASEAN and the European countries.

Job Responsibilities:

InvestmentManagement

• Formulate, develop and execute overall strategies/plans for acquisition, development &divestmentfortheparticularcountry;
  
• Explore and identify suitable investment opportunities in real estate (Retail Real Estate), perform feasibility studies and financial modelling/analysis entailing cash flow analysis and yield projections for acquisition and oversee investment due diligence
  

• Oversee and ensure the implementation of the strategy and business plans at property levels includes asset enhancement initiatives within the portfolio are executed diligently and within the stipulated financial measures
  
• Develop and maintain financial and asset models to analyse the overall performance at property level as well as preparing asset reports on the properties.
  
  

Capital Management

• Evaluate and structure real estate deals and capital funding through unit issuance and debt funding via bank
  
• Involve in dealing with investment banks, investors and analyst during roadshows for fund/capital raising
  

• Prepare recommendation reports for proposed acquisitions and divestments to the top management and board of directors.
  
• Collate information of market research and perform analysis of property market performance and prepare the market report for management consumption
  
• Strategize to ensure maximization of returns on acquisition, development and asset enhancement
  
• Act as development manager on new project development when needed
  
  

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Business/Real Estate or equivalent.
  
• Qualification in CFA will be an added advantage.
  
• At least 15 year(s) related working experience in the real estate industry with a good understanding of property investment and development.
  
• Candidate with strong knowledge of management accounting and project development will be an added advantage.
  
• Candidate with good network and sound knowledge about property market particularly in retail real estate within the Malaysia market.
  
• Possess excellent business acumen, excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task.
  
• Strong analytical and financial skills as well as meticulous on numbers.
  
• Travelling is required
