الوصف الوظيفي
- Follow and abide safety guidelines as applied per hospital policies and procedures.
- Selecting appropriate tools and materials to complete masonry jobs, cutting stone/brick to appropriate size to ensure proper bonding and fit.
- Plastering and applying glazed and unglazed ceramic tiles.
- Reading, interpreting, and explaining manuals, work orders, blueprints, and drawings.
- Using and maintaining tools and equipment typically used in masonry, Using a gauge line, spirit level, and plumb bob in obtaining straight courses.
- Using a variety of hand and power tools such as brick or napping hammer, brick or skill saw in cutting and shaping brick and axe, pick, chisel, and hammer in cutting or shaping stone.
- Maintaining and repairing walls, floors, and partitions including corners, sills, lintels, and arches.
- Maintaining and repairing slap walks, stairs, manholes, catch basins etc. as necessary required by the hospital.
- May be designated according to type of work performed.
- Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
- Provides or promotes people centered care.
- Promotes inclusive health by providing equitable and accessible care to patients and families with special needs.
- Any other duties assigned.
