Product Manager Hardware (M/W/D)

Your responsibilities

One-liner: You are responsible for the development and implementation of the internal and external hardware strategy (edge devices) in line with the long-term goals and vision of gridX

Manager: You continuously improve our customers hardware experience to manage rapid growth and cover a wide range of requirements optimised for scalability, cost and security

Executioner: In cooperation with our development department, project managers and solution engineers, you are responsible for monitoring and improving our hardware strategy. You identify potential risks, errors and optimisation opportunities and are in close contact with all relevant teams to ensure efficient processes

Communicator: You actively approach partners, customers and projects and build a trusting cooperation, you negotiate prices and create requirements

Your profile

Education: Your education has paved the way to a leadership position with a strong focus on technology and the energy industry

Experience: Your work in the IoT/Cloud business and your solid understanding of edge computing devices can make you our expert in hardware strategies

Mindset: To get your work done, you quickly find the right balance between details and the big picture. You don't need tasks assigned to you, you find them yourself and carry them out

Strengths: You have a technical background combined with strong management skills. You are able to adapt quickly to constant change and can justify your decisions

Specialities: You have already gained experience in the field of renewable energies? You have already contributed to product roadmaps? You know how to deal with a variety of stakeholders when it comes to decision-making?
