Project Manager

Location: Philadelphia ( Remote within a commutable distance)

Contract with Possible CTH

Our Client, an established Insurance provider on the east coast is looking for someone who brings a drive for excellence, team orientation and customer commitment; help them reimagine their business and shape the future of health care. Roles: Multiple Role available within the technology realm of PMO and focus on call centers, Contracts, Government Markets (Medicare) & EOBS

The successful person in this role will:

  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity with high impact to the enterprise.
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects and delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resources needs, and performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality timeline issues appropriately.
  • Track key projects milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Assist Program Manager(s) in order to lead and direct high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
  • Assemble project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of a project.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Develop and proactively manage detailed issues and risk management plans, reflects contingencies and relater required efforts in schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, other related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management certification (PMP) or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required
  • 7 or more years of related work experience
  • 5 or more years of experience managing projects
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.

Healthcare insurance industry background highly desirable any one of these areas:
