Tasks

The Role

Reporting to the Marketing Director, we are looking for a creative and highly motivated Social Media Lead to join the marketing team. The role will be responsible for driving best-in-class organic social activations and campaign initiatives; from strategy to activation, you will be pivotal in driving forward our social media strategy across our exciting portfolio of IPs across our animation, entertainment, and education verticals. You will also foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and inspiration and foster positive working relationships

What you will be building with us:

Working closely with the Marketing Director, create and own the Social Media Strategy for a portfolio of IPs, with a specific focus on priority IPs, ensuring the Social Media strategy is in line with the IP roadmaps.

Developing editorial themes, calendars and guidelines focused on US and EMEA audiences.

Manage social media team Social Media Manager, Junior content creator and Junior Social Media Manager providing direction and mentoring as required to support growth whilst overseeing the delivery of content calendar and campaigns.

Comprehensive social media reporting monthly, quarterly and bi-annual to senior stakeholders.

Establish transparent working processes and operational efficiencies that allow us to deliver content plans at pace and scale.

A deep understanding of social media, audiences and internet culture

Requirements

What you add to our Team:

Significant experience delivering organic social media strategies with a deep understanding of our priority platforms [TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter], the algorithms and the best approach to optimise content.

5+ years of experience in managing social media profiles, with a proven track record of growing engaged communities

Outstanding copywriting skills, excellent grammar and spelling, and ability to write impactful copy in line with the brand Tone of Voice.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to juggle priorities and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Solid experience working with social media management tools for publishing, moderation and reporting.

Experience in managing influencer programmes in the US is a bonus.
