Senior Engineer, Automation Tester

The Position

For our IT development team in Bangalore, we are looking for (Senior) Software Test Engineers with at least 4-8 years of experience in Fin Tech software development.
You will form part of a multi-locational key development feature team using an Agile methodology. You will be fulfilling tasks in (Functional, chain and user) testing in a fast paced and ever-changing environment on (near) real time systems where reliability and security is paramount. As part of the team you will be actively encouraged to offer opinions and influence at all stages to produce software you are proud of.

The (Senior) Software Test Engineer will design, build and maintain automated test frameworks. This role should have a strong focus on quality throughout the entire software development cycle.
Our target platform is built with Azure PaaS/SaaS tools. Experience with the Azure platform (especially Logic Apps, Power Platform, C#) and willingness to learn are the foundations for this role.

Job Accountabilities:

Work Closely with Product Owner and Business Analysts in order to understand and detail user stories into a clear state that enables clear instructions for development and testing.

Design, Develop and manage test automation scripts while applying software development methodologies and QA principles

Execute and review automated test plans to ensure products meet the defined requirements for usability

Identify quality issues and recommend improvements or corrections to developers.

Requirements

Education, Skills & Competencies

Bachelor or master s degree in IT, business, accounting, (computer) science, engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of Automation, Performance & Manual Testing Experience, Selenium, From Fin Tech or IT

(Manual + Automation Testing)

Overall experience in range of 4-6 yeas in Testing area (Manual + Automation).

From Manual testing perspective, experience in different type of testing i.e. Functional, sanity, regression, API testing using postman.

From Automation testing perspective, good experience in selenium/java is must to independently be able to work on automating the application/product being owned.

From Automation testing perspective, good to have experience in BDD/Cucumber and automation framework preparation.

Good analytical and communication skills are must as the role requires to communicate on regular basis with different stakeholder teams.

Open to work in Hybrid work model from location Mumbai preferably or Bangalore as 2nd option.

Good to have prior work experience in Financial services/Investment banking domain.

(Manual + Performance Testing)

Overall experience in range of 4-6 yeas in Testing area (Manual + Performance)

From Manual testing perspective, experience in different type of testing i.e. Functional, sanity, regression, API testing using postman.

From performance testing perspective, need good understanding and experience on end to end performance testing activities (Stress, Load & others) with Jmeter tool.

Good analytical and communication skills are must as the role requires to communicate on regular basis with different stakeholder teams.

Open to work in Hybrid work model from location Mumbai preferably or Bangalore as 2nd option.

Good to have prior work experience in Financial services/Investment banking domain.
