Job Title: DevOps with Artifact & ElectricCommander
Location: Remote
This position will be part of a Global Engineering IT organization managing & supporting Our Client next generation engineering innovations. Ideal candidate will have solid hands on Devops experience in the Software Build domain. Primary areas of contribution would be Application Administration and Development of Automation in the Build and Release domains in a highly complex Engineering environment.
This position is for a DevOps lead who will be working on projects and delivering strategic and operational initiatives under guidance of the Product Owner.
This position will be responsible for:
- Building and supporting a highly complex distributed Software Build application infrastructure used by Software Engineering organization in the areas of Software Build and Release.
- Solutioning and architecture for new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment
- Development of infrastructure automation software using CI/CD principles
- Integrating various tools in the DevOps toolchain to accelerate Engineering Tool team's velocity while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency.
- Identifying industry best practices and draft standards for design and implementation of automation workflows
- Contributing to 24x7 Operations
- Solid understanding and experience with the following are required:
- 2+ experience managing workloads using Slurm, LSF or other job schedulers for large scale clusters
- 2+ years' experience managing one or more CI/CD tools ( Jenkins, Electric Commander LSF, Bamboo)
- 3+ years' experience working in Devops managing critical applications
- Experience with binary artifact management tools (Artifactory, Maven)
- Strong experience supporting and managing globally distributed large build compute farms
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms including managing/supporting software builds in the cloud
- Chef Automation/Configuration Management tools experience
- ITIL experience in Change, Incident and Problem management
- Good understanding of the build and release process in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Experience in infrastructure automation and monitoring is highly desirable
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting to leadership (Director/VP level)
- Good Understanding of Agile software development process
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to work with globally distributed teams
- Exceptional ability to drive tasks and deliver on time is a must to be successful in this role

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. 8+ years IT-relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science. 5+ years IT-relevant work experience
