Imports and Logistics Specialist

Job Description

• Managing the full import process for a shipment from start to finish
• Timely preparation of import documentation for all air and/or sea shipment requirements in line with latest government regulations
• Choose the best shipping offers to ensure the delivery of optimum cost against service
• Preparing and maintaining a delivery schedule and communicate to all relevant departments
• Develop weekly tracking reports and outline/schedule for all open orders
• Manage the clearance priorities with clearing agents
• Revise clearing agent invoices and ensures no discrepancy

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any related filed (Preferred in logistics)
• Minimum 3-4 years of customs & logistics experiences (Preferred in Engineering industry)
• A very good command of English is a must (written and spoken)
• Awareness and being up to date with custom clearance laws and regulations
