Job Description
General Responsibilities:
- Performing design engineering responsibilities.
- Managing the offshore team members, oversee their production and QC the BIM process for the deliverables for different design stages.
- Assist project Manager in preparing BIM Guidelines for project specific requirements.
- Assist project Manager in training of project personnel in the use of BIM tools
- Understanding contractual and legal guidelines.
Production Team's Responsibilities:
- Planning and tracking tasks breakdown /assignments and support the project manager in creating project delivery plan and production team customization.
- Guiding and mastering production teams during the execution of work.
- Providing technical support and engineering knowledge transfer.
- Putting up the quality control and assurance strategy.
- Overseeing and evaluating production team KPIs.
- Identifying conflicts, and incomplete or ambiguous design information.
- Project Manager to compile contract BIM closeout documentation.
- Developing models to illustrate client questions and solutions.
- Maintaining BIM revision log.
- Distributing new and revised deliverables showing changes and RFI answers.
- Producing quantity reports per Client requirements.
Client and stakeholders' Responsibility:
- Defining scopes of work, evaluating site problems, and issuing RFIs.
- Providing daily and weekly timesheets.
- liaising with trade contractors.
- Updating and distributing documents and models to subcontractors and maintaining control logs (as applicable).
- Preparing and maintaining submittal logs and expediting log for BIM models.
- Attending and /or managing model coordination meetings and documenting project preconstruction / BIM meetings (write minutes).
- Coordinating models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modelers Record coordination sign-offs.
- Process design /shop drawing level models for approval.
- Identify model constructability issues and propose solutions.
- Create job layout driven by 3D model data.
- Support Client to calculate quantities for material orders and crew work planning.

- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in BIM field experience.
- Conflict resolution skills
- Excellent AutoCAD and Revit skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent technical background.
- Previous GCC projects Experience.
- Strong technical and BIM Software knowledge.
- Must befluentin reading, writing, and speakingEnglish.
