We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer in our Data Science team to join us on this exciting journey!

Your mission

As our Site Reliability Engineer at Prewave you will

  • Improve and automate deployment and release processes
  • Devise strategies for deploying complex machine learning models efficiently
  • Optimise our Google Cloud and Kubernetes Infrastructure
  • Create robust monitoring and fault detection systems for comprehensive oversight
  • Enhance database communication code for improved efficiency and usability
  • Optimise SQL and NoSQL databases for seamless operation
  • Analyse and refine crucial database queries for enhanced performance

Your profile

Must haves

  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with a JVMbased language like Java
  • Deep understanding of relational databases
  • Experience with cloud environments like GCP AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Jenkins command line interference and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Linux shell scripting
  • Fluent English language skills both spoken and written

Bonus points for

  • Experience in coding with Scala
  • Knowledge about NoSQL databases
  • A valid work permit in Austria

  • An extensive compensation package
    According to our collective agreement the minimum salary for this role is EUR 3077 gross per month however the higher packages are likely based on your qualifications and experience.
