Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of industry experience in backend development.
• 3 years of experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python Django and Django REST Framework.
• Extensive use of ORM libraries.
• Solid understanding of ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Extensive database knowledge.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain scalable and highperformance backend systems.
• Collaborate with the frontend and mobile app development teams to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Python AWS Lambda and shell scripting.
• Write efficient reusable and reliable Python code.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay uptodate with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.
