Production Supervisor - Injection

Objectives:

• Implement and oversee the production strategy as outlined in the 2024 company objectives map ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Hold primary accountability for achieving production targets optimizing equipment efficiency (OEE) and controlling expenses related to the injection molding process.
• Enforce company policies procedures and controls to ensure compliance with statutory legal and corporate requirements.
• Lead initiatives to promote continuous improvement particularly in areas of health and safety within the injection molding department.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the success and efficiency of injection molding operations in line with the 2024 strategy and objectives map.
• Report on production matters promptly and accurately adhering to prescribed formats.

Actions:

• Execute the production strategy established by upper management focusing on achieving targets and implementing necessary adjustments for growth or realignment.
• Coordinate with various departments to optimize customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics taking corrective actions when targets are not met.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards to meet sales and gross margin targets.
• Manage expenditure within the injection molding department and optimize cash flow through effective working capital controls.
• Drive improvements in plant efficiency waste reduction and quality assurance practices within the injection molding process.
• Uphold legal statutory and corporate governance requirements including the enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the injection molding department and communicate relevant protocols to all staff.
• Implement best practices and facilitate the Kaizen program to foster continuous improvement.
• Oversee performance management processes for staff within the injection molding department linking individual goals to team objectives.
• Maintain motivation among staff through fair and consistent enforcement of the code of conduct.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of productionrelated matters.
• Communicate significant information to relevant stakeholders and acknowledge achievements or issues impacting the business and teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction for injection molding operations overseeing daytoday activities while collaborating with the management team to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with the 2024 strategy.
• Focus on generating cash flow through effective financial planning and asset utilization within the injection molding department.
• Maximize the value of assets by ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
• Establish and enforce controls to optimize working capital fostering collaboration among the management team to achieve specific targets.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed displayed and accessible to staff with enforcement through supervision at all levels.
• Foster communication channels and IT systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and uphold company core values.
• Strive for worldclass standards in injection molding operations continuously improving based on Kaizen and QHSE standards.
• Utilize performance appraisals for staff development and improvement purposes.
• Implement and maintain IT systems and communication channels to ensure access to realtime data.
• Enforce policies immediately while also implementing rewards and recognition initiatives.
• Share checklists with the management team to ensure accountability and oversight.
