Principle RFIC PA Designer Wi-Fi 7 CMOS SOI

Were working for a prestigious client based in Sweden that is looking for a Senior RFIC PA Design Engineer to join a highly experienced team working in the area of single chip WiFi 7 FrontEnds.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree and 8 years of related work experience
• Strong analogue circuit design skills and experience performing analysis and simulation of both linear and nonlinear circuits for power amplifiers and other related RF circuit blocks
• Knowledge about CMOS and/or Bipolar Silicon technologies
• Wireless communications knowledge: OFDM/OFDMA 802.11 4G and 5G
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proficiency in Cadence schematic capture layout and simulation tools
• Experience in EM simulations using tools as EMX RFPro/Momentum and/or HFSS
• Proven track record in the design of power amplifiers for cellular or WiFi applications

Desirable Skills and Experience

• 12 years of experience with Ph D degree is preferred
• Experience with various PA linearization techniques including digital predistortion
• Understanding and knowledge of concepts such as envelope tracking tunable frontend components and impedance tuning
• Lab experience to perform IC characterization and debugging
• Knowledge of data analysis and proficiency software tools such as MATLAB and Python
