For one of our primary clients in the Oil and Energy industry we are currently sourcing an experienced Maintenance Planner to be involved in the Mellitah Complex Libya ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly monitored / followedup coordinated and executed in agreement with Company policies and standard and by using MAXIMO system as a fundamental tool.

Tasks

• Identify and plan all works e.g. preparatory main linked etc. that are required prior to issuance of Work Orders to executing unit or discipline and provide list of necessary materials tools equipment devices etc. to ensure no loss time and satisfacatory result of works.
• Take action on all studies concerning the plant discuss with and interviewing personnel contractors suppliers certifying authorities etc. to identify and gather relevant information that are of interest to maintenance operations and translate the identified and gathered information into effective programs for Preventive Predictive third party extraordinary works etc.
• Support in the requisition of appropriate and correct materials.
• Establish sequence of activities (electrical/instrument/mechanical disconnections and connections scaffholding painting etc.); plan the work amongst involved work disciplines and identifying special tools and equipment other than normal ones for regular and extraordinary activities (lifting degassing pressure testing etc.).
• Take all the necessary actions to monitor the progress of works and collection of interesting data that are useful to the activities and could be reference for better working methods to improve efficiency. That includes man hours activity and material costs etc.
• Issuing a work plan package including Gantt chart resources calculation materials lists etc. for critical maintenance works partial shutdowns or emergency maintenance interventions.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering HND Diploma or equivalent.
• English language proficiency is vital.
• At least 10 years experience and actual experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Knowledgeable on reading interpreting technical drawings P & I diagrams and flow charts.
• Ability to mentor local junior staff with technical and professional development.

Benefits

Salary: 250 / day worked; 10h a day

Rotation: 42/42
