Group CFO

• Develop and implement the Groups financial strategy including budgeting forecasting and financial analysis.
  
• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with Iraqi and international accounting standards (IFRS preferred).
  
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow management foreign exchange transactions and risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Lead the internal audit function and ensure a robust system of internal controls.
  
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  
• Partner with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic business plans.
  
• Oversee tax planning and compliance ensuring optimal tax efficiency.
  
• Identify and implement costsaving initiatives to improve profitability.
  
• Manage financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  
• Foster a culture of strong financial discipline and performance excellence within the organization.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university (A valid CPA license is highly desirable).
  
• Proven track record of success as a CFO or equivalent role in a large FMCG or Retail company.
  
• 15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership position.
  
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  
• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning analysis forecasting and budgeting.
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate a team.
  
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  
• Experience working in a complex and fastpaced environment.
  
• Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
  
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
  
• Experience working in Iraq or a similar operating environment is highly desirable.
